I can't believe my site has been up and running since November 2002 and that I've
already celebrated the first anniversary of my first novel's release! My how time does fly.
Okay, on to news and information:
I'm counting down to the release of book three in the SCU series! Just five more
months and the book will be on the shelves. Undercover Lover, which is Roderick and
Helene's story is due out on December 1, 2005.
Old news:
I am pleased to announce that I have been nominated for the "Favorite New Author" Award
to be presented at the 2005 Romance Slam Jam in Dallas Texas.
The result: Well, I didn't win, but it was fun to be considered. Kim Shaw author of Pack
Light took home the honors.
However, I was selected as a co-winner for Favorite New Author by the Shades of
Romance E-zine Reader's Choice Awards. Many thanks to LaShaunda Hoffman for the
lovely certificate!
Other great news:
My next two books in the Special Corruption Unit series will be released soon through
the Kensington Books Dafina romance imprint. UNDERCOVER LOVER is scheduled for
December release and Never too late for Love is scheduled for release in October
2006.

Please look for the cover art and additional details as I will post excerpts and begin
working on my contest questions.
I'm all set to announce my book release contest, but you can only find out more details by

Current projects:

		WHEW!! I'm finished folks. Beatrice and Michael's story, which is the final book in
		the Special Corruption Unit series, is done and ready to go to my editor :-) NEVER TOO LATE FOR LOVE--is the working title so don't be surprised if it changes in the near future.

		I am also working on the Jenkins Girls trilogy, about three feisty sisters and their
		wild adventures to true love. More on them later.

		To all members of the Katherine D. Jones writer's group--the new group will focus
		more on the joy of reading and writing contemporary romance. Okay folks, the book will be out in less than three months...and it's time for Contests! Get ready, get ready, get ready! I promise it will be fun. Hope you'll join me soon!
